Lindsey Plotner is a multi-disciplinary artist, with nearly two decades of experience in songwriting and performing, an extremely visual creative mind, and a Masters Degree in Music Business from NYU Steinhardt - all of which she puts to use in the studio and on the set!

Lindsey is also one half of the glam-folk duo Ned and Wendy the Band, which she formed with her husband Jordan in 2020. Her contribution to the band covers everything from songwriting and performing…to PR and booking…to marketing…to music production…and filmmaking!

Currently, Lindsey and Jordan are creating their first-ever feature film, a musical set to their upcoming studio album DANCES OF SIGNIFICANCE, which will feature an incredible cast and crew of local artists from a Liberace Tribute Artist to a Dramatic Clown! The film is currently in production in Portland.

Lindsey graduated from NYU Steinhardt’s Music Business program with an MA in Music Business in May of 2020. In this program, she learned a great deal about music distribution, A&R, music publishing, and marketing. This deeper understanding of the inner-workings of the music industry help her to navigate the complex journey of being a recording artist.

Most days you can find Lindsey at BodyVox Dance Center in NW Portland, where she is the Director of Marketing and a very mediocre (though enthusiastic!) dancer.

Lindsey’s approach to art, business, and life is holistic. While she enjoys taking time to zero in on detail, she can’t help but consider the larger picture every step of the way.

A dreamer and a doer, Lindsey has a history of bringing her big-picture imaginings to life, and it is her hope that she may help others do the same!
